قال رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو، السبت، إن أي اتفاق سلام قد يتم التوصل إليه مع لبنان يجب أن "يدوم لأجيال".

وأضاف في بيان متلفز "لقد تواصل لبنان معنا. في الشهر الماضي، تواصل معنا عدة مرات لبدء محادثات سلام مباشرة".

وتابع "لقد أعطيت موافقتي، ولكن بشرطين: نريد تفكيك سلاح حزب الله، ونريد اتفاق سلام حقيقي يدوم لأجيال".

وتجاوزت حصيلة شهداء الغارات الإسرائيلية على لبنان منذ بدء الحرب مع حزب الله في 2 آذار ألفي شهيد، وفق ما أفادت وزارة الصحة السبت.

وواصل جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي قصفه على لبنان بعد التوصل إلى وقف إطلاق نار موقت لمدة أسبوعين بين الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل من جهة وإيران من جهة أخرى.
