قال رئيس البنك الدولي أجاي بانغا، الجمعة، إن حرب إيران سيكون لها تداعيات متسلسلة على الاقتصاد العالمي، حتى لو تم الالتزام بوقف إطلاق النار الهش الذي أعلنه الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب.

وأضاف أن الضرر سيكون أعمق بكثير إذا انهار وقف إطلاق النار وتصاعد الصراع.

وقال، إن التضخم قد يرتفع 200 إلى 300 نقطة أساس، مع تأثير أكبر بكثير إذا استمرت الحرب.

وأدت الحرب، التي أودت بحياة آلاف الأشخاص في أنحاء الشرق الأوسط، إلى ارتفاع أسعار النفط 50%، مع تعطيل إمدادات النفط والغاز والأسمدة والهيليوم وغيرها من السلع، فضلا عن تضرر السياحة والسفر الجوي.
