قالت رئاسة الجمهورية اللبنانية الجمعة إن اجتماعا سيُعقد الثلاثاء في مقر وزارة الخارجية الأميركية "للبحث في الإعلان عن وقف لإطلاق النار وموعد بدء التفاوض" بين لبنان واسرائيل برعاية أميركية.

وجاء في بيان للرئاسة اللبنانية أن اتصالا هاتفيا ثلاثيا، هو الأول من نوعه، جرى مساء في واشنطن بين سفيري لبنان وإسرائيل لدى الولايات المتحدة والسفير الأميركي لدى لبنان ميشال عيسى المتواجد في العاصمة الأميركية.

وتابع البيان "تم خلال الاتصال التوافق على عقد أول اجتماع يوم الثلاثاء المقبل في مقر الخارجية الأميركية للبحث في الإعلان عن وقف لإطلاق النار وموعد بدء التفاوض بين لبنان واسرائيل برعاية أميركية".
