حذر الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب إيران من التعرض لضربات جديدة في حال فشلت المباحثات في باكستان في إطار اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار الموقت، بحسب ما نقلت عنه صحيفة أميركية الجمعة.

ونقلت صحيفة "نيويورك بوست" عن ترامب قوله "نقوم حاليا بتحميل السفن بأفضل الذخائر، وأفضل الأسلحة التي صُنعت على الإطلاق، أفضل حتى مما قمنا به سابقا عندما مزّقناهم إربا إربا".

أضاف "ما لم نتوصل إلى اتفاق، فسوف نستخدمها... بفعالية كبيرة".

ويأتي ذلك في وقت توجه نائب الرئيس الأميركي جاي دي فانس إلى إسلام آباد تمهيدا للمفاوضات المرتقبة مع إيران، مع تحذيره إياها من "التلاعب" بواشنطن، بينما جددت طهران التمسك بشروط تسبق بدء المباحثات، خصوصا وقف إسرائيل إطلاق النار في لبنان.
