ارتفعت أسعار النفط في التعاملات المبكرة الجمعة عقب هجمات على بنية تحتية للطاقة في السعودية، فيما تقيم الأسواق علاوة المخاطرة الناجمة عن الإغلاق المستمر لمضيق هرمز، على الرغم من الهدنة الهشة بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران.

بحلول الساعة 0100 بتوقيت غرينتش، صعدت العقود الآجلة لخام برنت 83 سنتا أو 0.87% إلى 96.75 دولارا للبرميل. وزادت العقود الآجلة لخام غرب تكساس الوسيط 1.04 دولار أو 1.06% إلى 98.91 دولارا للبرميل.

واتفقت إيران والولايات المتحدة الثلاثاء على وقف إطلاق النار لمدة أسبوعين بوساطة باكستان، لكن الأعمال القتالية استمرت بعد الإعلان.

وتسبب الصراع في إغلاق هذا الممر الحيوي لتدفقات النفط والغاز فعليا منذ 28 شباط عندما شنت الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل غارات جوية على إيران.
