أعلن الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين وقفا لإطلاق النار مع أوكرانيا يبدأ مساء السبت وينتهي منتصف ليل الأحد-الإثنين، وذلك لمناسبة عيد الفصح الأرثوذكسي، وفق ما أفاد الكرملين الخميس، وذلك بعدما اقترحت أوكرانيا تعليق الأعمال العدائية.

وجاء في بيان مكتوب للكرملين "بقرار من القائد الأعلى (...) ومع حلول عيد الفصح الأرثوذكسي المقبل، تقرر وقف إطلاق النار اعتبارا من الساعة 16,00 (13,00 ت غ) من الحادي عشر من نيسان/أبريل وحتى انتهاء يوم الثاني عشر من نيسان/أبريل 2026".
