حسم فريق الحسين إربد مواجهته أمام نظيره الأهلي بالفوز بهدف دون مقابل، في لقاء أقيم، مساء اليوم الأربعاء، على ستاد الملك عبدالله الثاني، ضمن منافسات الجولة 23 من دوري المحترفين الأردني.

وشهد اللقاء أداء متكافئا بين الطرفين، حيث حاول الحسين فرض أفضليته الهجومية، في ظل تنظيم دفاعي من الأهلي، قبل أن ينجح محمود مرضي في تسجيل هدف اللقاء الوحيد عند الدقيقة 77، بعد تمريرة مميزة من رجائي عايد.

وبهذه النتيجة، رفع الحسين رصيده إلى 49 نقطة محافظا على صدارة الدوري، فيما تجمد رصيد الأهلي عند 17 نقطة في المركز التاسع.
