قال رئيس الوزراء الكندي مارك كارني لصحفيين الثلاثاء إن على أطراف الصراع الإيراني احترام القانون الدولي، مما يعني عدم استهداف المدنيين والبنية التحتية المدنية.

حذّر الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الثلاثاء من "موت حضارة بأكملها" في إيران إذا لم تستجب البلاد لإنذاره النهائي بقبول مطالب الولايات المتحدة لإنهاء الحرب.

وكتب ترامب على منصته "تروث سوشال"، "حضارة بأكملها ستموت الليلة، ولن تعود أبدا. لا أريد ذلك، لكنه على الأرجح سيحدث. من يدري؟".

ووصف هذه اللحظة بأنها "واحدة من أهم اللحظات في تاريخ العالم الطويل والمعقد"، مؤكدا أن "47 عاما من الابتزاز والفساد والموت ستنتهي أخيرا".
