أكد وزير الخارجية البحريني عبد اللطيف الزياني، الثلاثاء، أن إغلاق مضيق هرمز يهدد حياة ملايين البشر.

وأضاف الزياني خلال جلسة لمجلس الأمن الدولي، بشأن مضيق هرمز أنه تمر عبر مضيق هرمز كميات ضخمة من النفط والغاز والأدوية والأغذية.

وقال إن أي تعطيل في مرور البضائع بمضيق هرمز له تأثير سلبي عالمي.

وشدد على أنه لا يمكن تجاهل استمرار إغلاق مضيق هرمز.

فشل مجلس الأمن الدولي، الثلاثاء، في اعتماد مشروع قرار مقدم من دول عربية شملت الأردن والبحرين والإمارات العربية المتحدة وقطر والكويت والمملكة العربية السعودية، بشأن مضيق هرمز.

وصوت لصالح مشروع القرار 11 عضوا وعارضته الصين وروسيا باستخدامهما حق النقض (الفيتو) وامتنع عضوان عن التصويت.
