قال مسؤول كبير لرويترز الثلاثاء إن إيران وضعت شروطا مسبقة لإجراء محادثات حول سلام دائم مع الولايات المتحدة تشمل الوقف الفوري للهجمات وضمانات بعدم تكرارها وتعويضا عن الأضرار.

وأضاف المسؤول أن طهران ترفض أي وقف لإطلاق النار مع الولايات المتحدة يكون مؤقتا فقط.

وقال إن أي اتفاق سلام دائم ينبغي أن يسمح لإيران بفرض رسوم على السفن التي تمر عبر مضيق هرمز، والتي ستختلف حسب نوع السفينة وحمولتها والظروف المحيطة.
