قالت المتحدثة باسم وزارة الخارجية الصينية، ماو نينغ، الثلاثاء، ردا على سؤال بشأن المقترح الأميركي لوقف إطلاق النار الذي قامت باكستان بجهود وساطة بشأنه ورفضته إيران، إن الصين تأمل أن تغتنم الأطراف المعنية فرصة السلام وأن تتجاوز الخلافات عبر الحوار.

وأضافت نينغ في إفادة صحفية دورية أن الصين ترحب بجميع الجهود الجادة وتدعم جهود الوساطة الباكستانية النشطة.

وأكدت على أن التوصل إلى وقف لإطلاق النار في أسرع وقت ممكن واستئناف الحوار هو أمل مشترك للمجتمع الدولي. وشددت على أن الصين مستعدة للقيام بدور بناء
