- التحقيق الأولي أشار انه ناتج عن اغبرة محملة بنسبة من انبعاثات المصانع

قال الناطق الإعلامي باسم مديرية الأمن العام أن كوادر الدفاع المدني في محافظة العقبة تعاملت مساء اليوم مع بلاغ يفيد بتعرض(12) شخص لضيق في التنفس في المنطقة الصناعية الجنوبية بمحافظة العقبة .

حيث أظهرت الفحوصات والتحقيقات الاولية أن سبب ذلك يعود لوجود زيادة في نسبة الأغبرة في الجو محملة بانبعاثات المصانع دون رصد أي تسرب لأي مادة داخل المجمع، حيث جرى إسعافهم ونقلهم إلى مستشفى الأمير هاشم العسكري، ووصفت حالتهم ما بين الحسنة والمتوسطة.

وأضاف الناطق الإعلامي أن فرق مختصصة مشتركة من الدفاع المدني و سلطة منطقة العقبة الاقتصادية الخاصة وإدارة مؤسسة الموانئ وفريق المواد الخطرة في الدفاع المدني قامت باجراء الفحوصات اللازمة والكشف على كافة المصانع ، واكدت عدم وجود أي تسريب لأي مادة خطرة .
