قالت شركة ميتسوي أو.إس.كيه لاينز الجمعة إنّ ناقلة غاز طبيعي مسال يابانية تابعة لها عبرت مضيق هرمز.

وأكّد متحدث باسم الشركة لرويترز أنّ طاقم السفينة التي ترفع علم بنما بخير، وأحجم عن الإفصاح عن موعد عبورها المضيق أو ما إذا كانت قد جرت مفاوضات بهذا الشأن.

وذكرت صحيفة أساهي في وقت سابق الجمعة أن هذه هي أول سفينة يابانية تغادر مضيق هرمز منذ اندلاع الحرب على إيران.

وسيجري مجلس الأمن الدولي تصويتا على مشروع قرار قدمته البحرين بشأن حماية الملاحة التجارية في مضيق هرمز ومحيطه، في وقت أعلنت فيه الصين، التي تتمتع بـ(الفيتو)، معارضتها لأي تفويض باستخدام القوة.

ونقل دبلوماسيان أن اجتماع مجلس الأمن، الذي يضم 15 عضوا، والتصويت سيُعقدان صباح السبت، بدلا من اليوم الجمعة كما كان مقررا سابقا، نظرا لكون الجمعة عطلة رسمية في الأمم المتحدة.
