بدأ اتحاد كرة القدم، باستقبال طلبات الانتساب لعضوية الهيئة العامة، عن فئة الأعضاء المستقلين.

ويستمر استقبال الطلبات حتى انتهاء ساعات عمل يوم الأحد المقبل، قبل أن ينظر بالطلبات خلال الاجتماع غير العادي للهيئة العامة للاتحاد والذي يعقد الثلاثاء 9 نيسان المقبل عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي «عن بُعد».

يذكر أن الاجتماع غير العادي للهيئة العامة سيخصص للنظر في الطلبات واعتماد تشكيلة الهيئة العامة، إلى جانب انتخاب لجنة الانتخاب ولجنة الاستئناف وتحديد الاحتياطيين للجنتين، استعداداً لاجتماع الهيئة العامة العادي والذي يعقد وجاهياً الاثنين 11 أيار المقبل.
