وافقت لجنة برلمانية على خطط لفرض رسوم على السفن التي تعبر مضيق هرمز الاستراتيجي، وفق ما ذكر التلفزيون الرسمي الإيراني الاثنين.

ونقل التلفزيون الرسمي عن عضو في اللجنة الأمنية في البرلمان قوله إن الخطة تتضمن من بين أمور أخرى، "الترتيبات المالية وأنظمة تحصيل الرسوم بالريال" و"تنفيذ الدور السيادي لإيران" بالإضافة إلى التعاون مع عُمان على الجانب الآخر من المضيق.

كما تضمنت "منع الأميركيين والكيان الصهيوني من المرور عبره" وكذلك حظر دول أخرى تفرض عقوبات على إيران من الملاحة فيه.

وأدى شبه الشلل في مضيق هرمز، وهو ممر بحري رئيسي يمر عبره عادة نحو خمس الإنتاج العالمي من النفط، إلى ارتفاع حاد في أسعار المحروقات واضطراب سلاسل الإمداد.
