دعت المؤسسة العامة للغذاء والدواء المواطنين إلى شراء زيت الزيتون المستورد فقط من مصادر موثوقة ومعتمدة، لضمان جودة المنتج وسلامته.

وحذرت المؤسسة من شراء الزيتون من صفحات إلكترونية غير معروفة تعرضه بأسعار منخفضة بشكل غير معتاد، لما قد ينطوي عليه ذلك من ممارسات مخالفة مثل الغش أو تقليد العلامات التجارية الأصلية.

وأكدت المؤسسة أن الالتزام بالمصادر المعتمدة يضمن مطابقة المنتج للمواصفات القياسية ويحمي المستهلك من أي مخاطر صحية أو خداع تجاري.
