أعلنت المتحدثة باسم البيت الأبيض، كارولين ليفيت، الأربعاء، أن الرئيس دونالد ترامب سيقوم بزيارته المؤجلة إلى الصين يومي 14 و15 مايو/ أيار المقبل.

وأوضحت ليفيت خلال مؤتمر صحفي أن الزيارة كانت مقررة في أوائل أبريل/ نيسان، لكن تم تأجيلها بسبب التصعيد بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران.

وأشارت إلى أن الزيارة المؤجلة ستجرى في 14 و15 مايو.

ولفتت إلى أن الرئيس الصيني شي جين بينغ سيزور واشنطن في وقت لاحق من هذا العام.
