استقبل مستشفى الأميرة بسمة التعليمي الجديد في اربد حالة لمواطن يبلغ من العمر 61 عاما تعرض لعضة في قدمه نتيجة هجوم من مجموعة كلاب ضالة في بلدة بشرى شرق محافظة إربد.

وأوضح مدير المستشفى وليد الحلبي أن المريض وصل إلى قسم الطوارئ وهو يعاني من إصابة في القدم نتيجة العضة حيث تم التعامل مع الحالة فورا من قبل الكوادر الطبية المختصة وتقديم الإسعافات اللازمة.

وأضاف الحلبي أنه جرى إعطاء المريض المطاعيم والحقن الخاصة بالوقاية من داء الكلب وفق البروتوكول الطبي المعتمد في مثل هذه الحالات مشيرا إلى أنه سيستكمل الجرعات العلاجية اللاحقة حسب المواعيد المحددة لضمان الوقاية الكاملة.
