بحث جلالة الملك عبدﷲ الثاني وجلالة السلطان هيثم بن طارق، سلطان عُمان، سبل خفض التصعيد في الإقليم، خلال اتصال هاتفي، اليوم الثلاثاء.

وأكد جلالته ضرورة التوصل إلى اتفاق يوقف الحرب ويضمن أمن الدول العربية، مشددا على أن أمن الخليج أساس لأمن واستقرار المنطقة والعالم.

ولفت جلالة الملك إلى ضرورة تكثيف التنسيق والتعاون لتعزيز الأمن العربي المشترك، مثمنا مساعي سلطنة عُمان لتحقيق التهدئة من خلال الدبلوماسية والحوار.

وأعرب جلالته، خلال الاتصال، عن تعازيه بضحايا الفيضانات في عدد من مناطق السلطنة، متمنيا الشفاء العاجل للمصابين.
