أعلنت وزارة الكهرباء في الكويت، في وقت مبكر من صباح الثلاثاء، خروج 7 خطوط هوائية لنقل الطاقة الكهربائية عن الخدمة نتيجة أضرار ناجمة عن سقوط شظايا.

وأكدت المتحدثة باسم الوزارة فاطمة حياة، حدوث "فصل جزئي عن بعض المناطق" في الكويت.

وأوضحت المتحدثة أنه "العمل جارٍ على إعادة التيار، والفرق الفنية المختصة ستباشر أعمالها فور تأمين المواقع لتقييم الأضرار، تمهيدا لإصلاح الخطوط المتضررة".
