قال وزير خارجية عُمان بأن بلاده تبذل جهودا مكثفة لضمان المرور الآمن عبر مضيق هرمز، محذرا من أن الحرب تلحق بالفعل أضرارا اقتصادية واسعة قد تتفاقم في حال استمرارها.

وأضاف أن الصراع، بغض النظر عن المواقف تجاه إيران، ليس من صنع طهران.

وكانت عُمان قد توسطت في المفاوضات النووية بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران قبل أن تشن واشنطن وإسرائيل غارات على طهران في 28 فبراير شباط.
