قال وزراء خارجية مجموعة السبع السبت، إنهم على استعداد لاتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لدعم إمدادات الطاقة العالمية، وأكدوا مجددا على أهمية حماية الممرات البحرية، بما فيها مضيق هرمز.

وجاء في بيان مشترك صادر عن وزراء خارجية كندا وفرنسا وألمانيا وإيطاليا واليابان وبريطانيا والولايات المتحدة وكبير دبلوماسيي الاتحاد الأوروبي "نعبر عن دعمنا لشركائنا في المنطقة في مواجهة الهجمات غير المبررة التي تشنها الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية ووكلائها".

وأضافوا "نندد بأشد العبارات بالهجمات المتهورة التي يشنها النظام ضد المدنيين والبنية التحتية المدنية، بما فيها البنية التحتية للطاقة".
