عمم مدير عام هيئة الإعلام، بشير المومني، استناداً إلى كتاب النائب العام، قراراً بحظر النشر في قضية وفاة طالبة في الجامعة الأردنية، وذلك وفقاً لأحكام المادة (39) من قانون المطبوعات والنشر والمادة (225) من قانون العقوبات.

وبحسب التعميم، يُحظر النشر في واقعة وفاة الطالبة في الجامعة الأردنية على جميع وسائل الإعلام بمختلف أشكالها، إضافة إلى منصات التواصل الاجتماعي.

ووفقاً للتعميم، يُعمل بمضمون كتاب النيابة العامة المشار إليه أعلاه، مع الالتزام التام بعدم نشر أو تداول أي معلومات أو تفاصيل تتعلق بالقضية أو بسير التحقيقات، بما في ذلك الإجراءات الأولية أو الابتدائية، أو تناول التكييف القانوني أو العقوبات المحتملة، أو إعادة نشر أي صور أو مقاطع فيديو ذات صلة بالواقعة.
