تلقى جلالة الملك عبدﷲ الثاني، الخميس، اتصالا هاتفيا من رئيس الوزراء الباكستاني محمد شهباز شريف، لبحث المستجدات الخطيرة التي تشهدها المنطقة.

وشدد جلالته على ضرورة وقف الاعتداءات الإيرانية على الأردن ودول المنطقة، والاحتكام للدبلوماسية في حل النزاع والتوصل إلى تهدئة شاملة تعيد الاستقرار للمنطقة.

وأعرب جلالة الملك عن تعازيه لرئيس الوزراء الباكستاني بوقوع ضحايا باكستانيين خلال الهجمات الإيرانية على دول عربية.

وشدد جلالته على ضرورة عدم استغلال الصراع كذريعة لفرض واقع جديد في القدس والضفة الغربية وغزة.
