أعلن المتحدث الرسمي باسم الحرس الوطني بالكويت العميد جدعان فاضل، أن (قوة الواجب) تمكنت فجر اليوم الخميس، من إسقاط 5 مسيرات إيرانية في مواقع المسؤولية التي تتولى تأمينها.

وبحسب وكالة الأنباء الرسمية "كونا"، قال العميد فاضل في بيان، إن هذا الإجراء يأتي في إطار الجهود المستمرة لتعزيز الأمن وحماية المواقع الحيوية والتصدي لأي تهديدات محتملة داعيا الجميع إلى ضرورة التقيد بتعليمات الأمن والسلامة الصادرة من الجهات المختصة.

وأكد أن قوات الحرس الوطني بالكويت وبالتعاون مع الجيش والشرطة وقوة الإطفاء العام على أهبة الاستعداد والجاهزية للتعامل مع أي تهديدات والتصدي بحزم لكل ما يستهدف زعزعة أمن البلاد، بما يضمن صون سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها ويحمي مصالحها ومقدراتها الوطنية.
