رحّبت وزارة الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين بإعلان الهدنة المؤقتة بين جمهورية أفغانستان الإسلامية وجمهورية باكستان الإسلامية، بمناسبة حلول عيد الفطر المبارك.

وأكّد الناطق الرسمي باسم الوزارة السفير فؤاد المجالي دعم المملكة لجميع الجهود الدبلوماسية المُستهدِفة حلّ النزاعات والخلافات عبر الطرق السلمية مثمّنةً جهود كلٍّ من المملكة العربية السعودية الشقيقة، ودولة قطر الشقيقة، وجمهورية تركيا الشقيقة في التوصّل إلى الهدنة.
