أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الإماراتية، الثلاثاء، أن دفاعاتها الجوية تعاملت مع اعتداءات صاروخية وطائرات مسيّرة قادمة من إيران.

وأكدت وزارة الدفاع أن الأصوات المسموعة في مناطق متفرقة من الدولة هي نتيجة اعتراض كل من منظومات الدفاع الجوي للصواريخ البالستية، والمقاتلات للطائرات المسيّرة والجوالة.

وتشن إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة ضربات جوية على إيران منذ السبت 28 شباط، أدت لمقتل المرشد الأعلى علي خامنئي، ومنذ ذلك الحين، ترد طهران بضرب إسرائيل ودول في المنطقة بصواريخ وطائرات مسيّرة.
