ستارمر: بريطانيا لن تنجرّ إلى الحرب الإيرانية

أكّد رئيس الوزراء البريطاني كير ستارمر أن بلاده لن تنجرّ إلى حرب إيرانية أوسع نطاقا، مشددا على التزام المملكة المتحدة بالعمل على إيجاد حل سريع للأزمة الراهنة.

وقال ستارمر الاثنين إن لندن تعمل مع الحلفاء على خطة جماعية لإعادة فتح مضيق هرمز واستعادة حرية الملاحة في الشرق الأوسط، لكنه أوضح أن المهمة لن تكون سهلة.

وأردف يقول لصحفيين "علينا إعادة فتح مضيق هرمز في النهاية لضمان استقرار سوق النفط، إنها ليست مهمة بسيطة".

وأضاف "وبالتالي نعمل مع كل حلفائنا، ومن بينهم شركاؤنا الأوروبيون، لوضع خطة جماعية قابلة للتطبيق تمكن من استعادة حرية الملاحة في المنطقة بأسرع وقت ممكن وتخفيف الأثر الاقتصادي".
