وفّرت وزارة الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة، خدمة دفع زكاة الفطر عبر تطبيق سند الحكومي، وفقا لما رصدته "المملكة" الاثنين.

ويتطلب الاستفادة من الخدمة تحديث التطبيق ليظهر بعد ذلك أيقونة مخصصة لإتمام عملية الدفع إلكترونيا.

وتوفر الخدمة الدفع لشخص أو أكثر وبحسب المبلغ الذي حددته دائرة الإفتاء العام بوقت سابق.

مجلس الإفتاء والبحوث والدراسات الإسلامية كان قد قدّر قيمة زكاة الفطر لهذا العام بـ180 قرشا عن كل شخص، كما حدد فدية طعام المسكين بدينار واحد كحد أدنى عن كل يوم للعاجز عن الصيام بسبب كبر السن أو المرض.
