قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب فجر الاثنين، إنه يجري محادثات مع إيران لكن طهران ليست مستعدة لإبرام اتفاق ينهي الحرب التي دخلت أسبوعها الثالث.

وصرّح الرئيس الأميركي للصحفيين في الطائرة الرئاسية "نعم، نحن نجري محادثات معهم. لكنني لا أعتقد أنهم مستعدون. لكنهم يقتربون جدا"، دون كشف مضمون هذه المحادثات، لكنه أكد مجددا أن إيران "أُهلكت" في الضربات الأميركية الإسرائيلية.

وكان وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي نفى في وقت سابق إجراء أي محادثات مع الولايات المتحدة.
