أعلن الحرس الوطني الكويتي، اليوم الأحد، إسقاط خمس طائرات مسيرة خلال الأربع وعشرين ساعة الماضية، في المواقع الحيوية التي يتولى تأمينها، وذلك ضمن الجهود المستمرة لتعزيز الأمن والتصدي لأية تهديدات محتملة.

وبحسب وكالة الأنباء الكويتية "كونا"، أكد المتحدث الرسمي باسم الحرس الوطني الكويتي، العميد جدعان فاضل، جاهزية قوات الحرس بالتعاون مع الجيش والشرطة وقوة الإطفاء العام للتعامل بحزم مع أي تهديد يستهدف زعزعة أمن البلاد وصون سيادتها ومقدراتها الوطنية، داعيا الجميع إلى ضرورة التقيد بتعليمات الأمن والسلامة الصادرة عن الجهات المختصة.
