أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الأميركية، أمس السبت، هوية 6 من أفراد القوات الجوية قتلوا في حادث تحطم طائرة تزود بالوقود فوق الأراضي العراقية.

والخميس، أعلن الجيش الأميركي، تحطم إحدى طائراته للتزود بالوقود جوا من طراز "كاي سي-135" في غرب العراق، بينما هبطت بسلام طائرة ثانية شملتها الحادثة، في الوقت الذي أعلن فيه فصيل مسلح يُعرف بـ "المقاومة الإسلامية في العراق" مسؤوليته عن إسقاط الطائرة.

وقالت القيادة المركزية الأميركية (سنتكوم) في بيان "سقطت إحدى الطائرتين في غرب العراق، وهبطت الثانية بسلام. لم يكن ذلك بسبب نيران معادية أو نيران صديقة".

وتشن إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة ضربات جوية على إيران منذ السبت 28 شباط، أدت لمقتل المرشد الأعلى علي خامنئي، ومنذ ذلك الحين، ترد طهران بضرب إسرائيل ودول في المنطقة بصواريخ وطائرات مسيّرة.
