لوّح الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب باستهداف البنية التحتية النفطية في جزيرة خارك الإيرانية، في حال استمرت طهران في إغلاق مضيق هرمز أمام حركة السفن.

وقال ترمب إن الولايات المتحدة "محت تماماً كل هدف عسكري" في الجزيرة، التي تدير نحو 90% من صادرات إيران من النفط الخام، في تصعيد جديد للتوتر بين واشنطن وطهران.

وفي السياق ذاته، نقلت شبكة سي إن إن عن مسؤول رفيع أن إيران تدرس السماح لعدد محدود من ناقلات النفط بالمرور عبر مضيق هرمز، بشرط أن يتم تداول شحنات النفط باليوان الصيني.

وأضاف المصدر أن هذه الخطوة تأتي ضمن خطة جديدة تعمل عليها طهران لإدارة تدفق ناقلات النفط عبر المضيق، في ظل التوترات المتصاعدة في المنطقة.
