وكالة الطاقة الدولية تقترح سحبا قياسيا من احتياطيات النفط

اقترحت وكالة الطاقة الدولية أكبر عملية سحب من مخزوناتها النفطية على الإطلاق لمواجهة الارتفاع الحاد في أسعار الخام بسبب الحرب الأميركية الإسرائيلية ضد إيران، وفق ما نقلت صحيفة وول ستريت جورنال عن مسؤولين مطلعين.

وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن الكمية التي يحتمل سحبها ستتجاوز الـ182 مليون برميل التي طرحتها الوكالة في الأسواق عام 2022 عقب الحرب في أوكرانيا.

ووفقا للصحيفة، عُرض الاقتراح الثلاثاء خلال اجتماع طارئ لمسؤولي الطاقة من الدول الأعضاء الـ32 في وكالة الطاقة الدولية، ومن المتوقع صدور القرار الأربعاء.
