أعلنت وزارة الصحة اللبنانية أن الغارات التي شنها إسرائيل على مدن في شرق لبنان أسفرت عن مقتل 41 شخصا.

في المقابل، أعلن الجيش اللبناني السبت مقتل 3 عسكريين جراء القصف الإسرائيلي الذي رافق عملية إنزال نفذتها القوات الإسرائيلية ليلا في شرق لبنان في محاولة لاستعادة رفات الطيار رون آراد المفقود منذ العام 1986.

وأورد الجيش في بيان "استشهد ثلاثة عسكريين وعدد من المواطنين نتيجة القصف المعادي العنيف الذي رافق" عملية إنزال نفذتها القوات الإسرائيلية وتلاها "تبادل لإطلاق النار بين القوة المعادية وأبناء المنطقة" في النبي شيت.
