أفاد المتحدث باسم الجيش الإسرائيلي نداف شوشاني بأن ثمانية جنود إسرائيليين أصيبوا بجروح الجمعة جراء إطلاق نار في شمال إسرائيل، قرب الحدود مع لبنان، خمسة منهم إصاباتهم خطيرة.

وقال المتحدث العسكري للصحافيين "في وقت سابق من اليوم (الجمعة)، أُصيب خمسة جنود بجروح خطيرة جراء إطلاق مقذوفات باتجاه الأراضي الإسرائيلية قرب الحدود اللبنانية".

وأضاف "تم نقل الجنود إلى المستشفى لتلقي العلاج، وتم إبلاغ عائلاتهم".

وتابع "أُصيب ثلاثة جنود آخرين بجروح طفيفة في الحادث نفسه، ونُقلوا إلى المستشفى لتلقي العلاج، وتم إبلاغ عائلاتهم أيضا".
