أفادت صحيفة فاينانشال تايمز، نقلا عن وزير الطاقة القطري سعد الكعبي، بأن أسعار النفط قد ترتفع إلى 150 دولارا للبرميل خلال أسبوعين إلى ثلاثة أسابيع إذا استمرت تداعيات الحرب الحالية.

وحذّر الوزير من أن الحرب قد تجبر دول الخليج على وقف صادرات الطاقة خلال أسابيع، ما قد يؤدي إلى اضطرابات كبيرة في أسواق الطاقة العالمية.

كما توقع الكعبي أن ترتفع أسعار الغاز الطبيعي إلى قرابة 40 دولارا لكل مليون وحدة حرارية بريطانية في ظل التوترات الحالية.

وأشار إلى أنه حتى في حال انتهاء الحرب فورا، فإن عودة قطر إلى دورة التوريد الطبيعية قد تستغرق من أسابيع إلى أشهر.
