أعلن الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الخميس أن حكومته ستتخذ قريبا إجراءات "لتخفيف الضغط على أسعار النفط"، بعد ارتفاعها الحاد نتيجة الحرب الأميركية الإسرائيلية على إيران.

وقال في فعالية بالبيت الأبيض "هناك إجراءات إضافية وشيكة لتخفيف الضغط على أسعار النفط، ويبدو أن الأسعار قد استقرت إلى حد كبير".

وأشار إلى اتخاذه سابقا "إجراءً حاسما" من خلال "تقديم تأمين ضد المخاطر السياسية لناقلات النفط العابرة إلى الخليج".
