بحث جلالة الملك عبدﷲ الثاني والرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع مجمل الأوضاع الإقليمية الخطيرة، خلال اتصال هاتفي، اليوم الخميس.

وجدد جلالة الملك إدانته لاستهداف المملكة وعدد من دول المنطقة، لافتا إلى أن حماية المواطنين وصون أمن الأردن وسيادته أولوية.

وجرى خلال الاتصال التأكيد على ضرورة التهدئة والاحتكام للحوار لتجنب تفاقم الأزمة الراهنة.

كما تم بحث التطورات في الضفة الغربية، إذ تم التأكيد على ضرورة خفض التصعيد وحماية حرية المصلين بالوصول إلى المسجد الأقصى المبارك/الحرم القدسي الشريف، خاصة في شهر رمضان المبارك.
