قال الناطق الإعلامي باسم مديرية الأمن العام إنّه من خلال التحقيقات في المنشور الذي أثار الهلع وطالب المواطنين بإخلاء منازلهم في قضاء الأزرق، حيث قام منشئه بترويسه باسم الأمن العام فقد تم تحديد هوية الشخص الذي قام بإنشائه ونشره وأُلقي القبض عليه وجرت إحالته للمدعي العام الذي قرر توقيفه في أحد مراكز الإصلاح والتأهيل، وفيما جرى كذلك التعميم عن شخص آخر شاركه بذلك
