نفى مصدر عسكري مسؤول في القيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة الأردنية – الجيش العربي تعرض موقع القوات المسلحة لهجوم سيبراني، مؤكداً أن ما يتم تداوله من أخبار في بعض وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي والمواقع الإلكترونية غير صحيح، وأن الموقع الرسمي يعمل بشكل طبيعي وتحت أعلى معايير الحماية السيبرانية، ولم يتعرض لأي هجوم إلكتروني أثر على سير عمله أو أمن معلوماته.

وأوضح المصدر أن القوات المسلحة الأردنية تولي أمن الفضاء السيبراني أهمية قصوى، وتعمل بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة لحماية المواقع الرسمية والبيانات الحكومية من أي تهديدات إلكترونية.
