أعلنت وزارة الدفاع القطرية، أنها تصدّت بنجاح لهجوم تعرض له الأربعاء، من 10 طائرات مسيّرة وصاروخي "كروز" مصدرها الجانب الإيراني.

وأوضحت الوزارة، في بيان الأربعاء، أن قوات الدفاع الجوي القطري نجحت في التصدي لـ6 طائرات مسيّرة، فيما تصدّت لطائرتين مسيّرتين وصاروخي "كروز"، ولطائرتين مسيّرتين الأخريين.

وأكدت الوزارة أن القوات المسلحة القطرية تمتلك كامل القدرات والإمكانات لحماية وصون سيادة الدولة وأراضيها والتصدي بحزم لأي تهديد خارجي.

ودعت المواطنين والمقيمين إلى الاطمئنان والالتزام بالتعليمات الصادرة عن الجهات الأمنية، وعدم الانسياق وراء الشائعات، والاعتماد على البيانات والمعلومات الصادرة عن الجهات الرسمية.
