قال المتحدث الرسمي باسم وزارة الدفاع السعودية تركي المالكي، فجر الثلاثاء، إن قوات الدفاع الجوي تمكنت من اعتراض وتدمير 8 مسيرات بالقرب من مدينتي الرياض والخرج.

وقالت وزارة الدفاع السعودية، في وقت سابق فجر الثلاثاء، إن السفارة الأميركية في الرياض تعرضت لهجوم بمسيّرتين بحسب التقديرات الأولية.

وأضافت وزارة الدفاع السعودية، في بيان مقتضب، إن الهجوم نتج عنه حريق محدود وأضرار مادية بسيطة في المبنى.
