قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، الاثنين إن "موجة كبيرة" من الهجمات لم تشن بعد في الحرب مع إيران.

وأضاف ترامب، لشبكة (سي.إن.إن) ، أن الولايات المتحدة لا تعرف من سيكون الزعيم الجديد للبلاد عقب مقتل المرشد الأعلى الإيراني علي خامنئي.

وأشار إلى أن العملية العسكرية جزء من حملة طويلة الأمد للقضاء على التهديد الإيراني.

وتابع ترامب "لا أستبعد إرسال قوات أميركية برية إلى إيران إذا لزم الأمر".
