أعلنت شركة قطر للطاقة، الاثنين، تعليق إنتاج الغاز الطبيعي المسال والمنتجات المرتبطة به بسبب هجمات عسكرية استهدفت منشآت في رأس لفان ومسيعيد.

وأكدت متحدثة باسم المفوضية الأوروبية أن الحرب الدائرة في الشرق الأوسط لا تُثير "مخاوف فورية" بشأن إمدادات الاتحاد الأوروبي من النفط والغاز.

وفي ما يتعلق بالغاز تحديدا، أكدت المتحدثة أن المخزونات الأوروبية كافية لتغطية احتياجات فصل الشتاء، ولا داعي لاتخاذ أي إجراءات طارئة. ويُتوقع إجراء تقييمات وطنية للطاقة الاثنين في بروكسل.
