أعلن حزب الله اللبناني المدعوم من إيران أنه أطلق صواريخ ومسيّرات على إسرائيل ليل الأحد الاثنين ردا على اغتيال المرشد الأعلى علي خامنئي.

وقال الحزب في بيان "دفاعا عن لبنان وشعبه وفي إطار الرد على الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية المتكررة، استهدفت المقاومة (...) بصلية من الصواريخ النوعية وسرب من المسيرات موقع مشمار الكرمل للدفاع الصاروخي التابع لجيش العدو الإسرائيلي جنوب مدينة حيفا المحتلة".

وقال الجيش الإسرائيلي الاثنين إنه بدأ في شن غارات جوية على مواقع لجماعة حزب الله اللبنانية المدعومة من إيران في مختلف أنحاء لبنان.

وسمع دوي انفجارات في الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت معقل الحزب.
