الاتحاد الأوروبي يؤكد أولوية السلامة النووية

أعلن الاتحاد الأوروبي أنه يتابع المستجدات في إيران والشرق الأوسط بقلق بالغ، مؤكدا أنه سيواصل حماية أمن ومصالح التكتل، بما في ذلك من خلال فرض عقوبات جديدة.

ودعا الاتحاد إلى أقصى درجات ضبط النفس وحماية المدنيين والاحترام الكامل للقانون الدولي، بما في ذلك مبادئ الأمم المتحدة، مشددا على أن هجمات إيران على دول المنطقة غير مبررة، وأنه يجب على طهران الامتناع عن الضربات العسكرية العشوائية.

وأكد أن السلامة النووية أولوية قصوى، وكذلك الحفاظ على الأمن البحري واحترام حرية الملاحة، مشيرا إلى ضرورة تجنب تعطيل الممرات المائية الحيوية مثل مضيق هرمز.

وجدد الاتحاد الأوروبي تأكيد تضامنه مع الشعب الإيراني ودعمه تطلعاته إلى مستقبل تحترم فيه حقوقه وحرياته بالكامل.
