تلقى جلالة الملك عبدﷲ الثاني، الأحد، اتصالا هاتفيا من الرئيس القبرصي نيكوس خريستودوليدس، بحثا خلاله تداعيات المستجدات في المنطقة.

وشدد جلالته على أن الأردن ماض في اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لحماية أمنه وسيادته وصون سلامة مواطنيه.

وأكد الجانبان ضرورة احترام سيادة الدول، واللجوء إلى القنوات الدبلوماسية والحوار لخفض التصعيد الراهن وتجنب اتساعه.
