قرر اتحاد كرة القدم بالتنسيق مع الجهات الأمنية، إقامة مباريات الجولة الثامنة عشرة من دوري المحترفين لكرة القدم دون حضور جماهيري، وذلك في ضوء الظروف الأمنية في المملكة والمنطقة المحيطة، وحرصاً على السلامة العامة.

وأكدت الجهات المنظمة للمسابقات المحلية أن القرار يأتي كإجراء احترازي قبيل انطلاق منافسات الجولة، لتجنب التجمعات الكبيرة في محيط الملاعب والمناطق العامة.

وتنطلق مباريات الجولة مساء اليوم الأحد، حيث يلتقي فريقا الفيصلي والأهلي على ستاد عمان الدولي عند الساعة 9:45 مساء.
