تلقى جلالة الملك عبدﷲ الثاني، اليوم الأحد، اتصالا هاتفيا من رئيس الوزراء البريطاني السير كير ستارمر، بحثا فيه سبل التوصل إلى تهدئة شاملة في المنطقة.

وأدان جلالته، خلال الاتصال، الاعتداء على أراضي الأردن وعدد من الدول العربية، محذرا من تداعيات هذه الاعتداءات على أمن المنطقة واستقرارها.

وأكد جلالة الملك أن التطورات الإقليمية الراهنة تتطلب تحركا فاعلا من المجتمع الدولي لخفض التصعيد.

من جانبه، ندد ستارمر بالهجمات الإيرانية على الأردن ودول عربية أخرى شريكة للمملكة المتحدة في المنطقة، معربا عن تضامن بلاده مع الأردن وهذه الدول ودعمها.
